Last year about this time we visited Bodnant Garden, famed for its Laburnum Arch. We were unfortunately too early for the arch which had yet to come into full bloom but were afforded spectacular views from the many Azaleas and Rhododendrons that were in flower. Every turn heralded a riot of colour and these are but a small few of the photos I took during our early evening visit.
The Laburnum Arch begins to come into flower.
Bodnant Garden is a National Trust site in North Wales and, in addition to the plants and arch, boasts many spectacular trees, meadow and woodland areas. It is very well worth a day out and could certainly entertain you for such. Take a picnic and enjoy Britain in Bloom at its best.
